Energy efficiency

The energy efficiency of transportation tasks can be increased, on the one hand, by reducing the tractive resistances, and on the other hand, by optimizing the energy of the vehicle power assemblies and the operating strategy of these power assemblies.

 

Our scope of services in the area of energy efficiency includes:

Reduction in external resistance for different vehicle categories and driving cycles
Reduction in external resistance for different vehicle categories and driving cycles
  • Determination of tractive resistances
  • Sensitivity analyses for tractive resistances and power train losses
  • Well-to-wheel and tank-to-wheel analyses
  • Integration and energy-optimized, demand-based operation of auxiliary power assemblies
  • Representation of customer-related driving cycles
  • Examination of driver assist systems

Depending on the application, both commercially available and self-developed, computer-supported simulation tools are used, and experimental analyses are carried out.
