Together with the software company Exa^® Corporation, a globally operating developer of simulation software and simulation technology for the automotive industry, the FKFS established the Center for Digital Vehicle Development.

The Center's objective consists of creating a link between physical and digital development process. In addition, it demonstrates the advantages which a fully integrated simulation strategy can have on the product development, promote the training and education of future engineers and also support the requirements on the process of the 'Design for Manufacturability' in simulation.
