Vibration comfort
Noise and vibration comfort play an important role in vehicle development since they greatly influence the customer's decision to buy the vehicle. Vibrations which are in the low frequency range, and low-frequency noises, which affect comfort perception in a special way, are therefore an important subject in vehicle development.
- Servo-hydraulic 4-post test bench in operation
To investigate the phenomena which occur here, FKFS has a servo-hydraulic 4-post test bench, with is used to test components, such as the engine mountings or suspension struts, as well as entire vehicles.
Both the vibration as well as the sound radiation of the vibrating bodies can also be calculated using structural-acoustic simulation methods.
