Driver Assistance Systems

Algorithms for conventional and predictive driver assistance systems are designed and prototypes are tested at the FKFS. By having test subjects drive on the representative Stuttgart driving circuit, the potentials in terms of energy savings, customer acceptance and safety are determined and statistically verified.

 

In addition, the largest driving simulator for the development of assistance systems in Europe is constructed at the University of Stuttgart in cooperation with the FKFS.
