The FKFS and the University of Stuttgart are jointly constructing the largest motion vehicle simulator which has ever been built at a research institution in Europe (commissioning: mid-2012).

Our highly specialized driving simulators are used in the automotive industry for the development of automotive components, driving strategies and driver assistance systems, as well as for demonstration and training purposes.

Our extensive expertise in the entire field of vehicle technology makes it possible to mechanically and electrically integrate actual automotive electronics (e.g., control devices) or complete assemblies (e.g., transmissions or steering units) in a driving simulator according to the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) principle.
