The work that takes place in the software area is the simulation and prototype implementation of software functions for mechatronic automotive systems.

The focus is placed on the control and regulation of conventional, hybrid and electric vehicle powertrains, as well as predictive driver assistance systems.
To accomplish the work, new test methods are used for mechatronic systems in customer-related driving, in driving simulators and in test benchs.
