An inspiring evening as part of the “Technology Leaders” series on July 6

It was a pleasure for us to welcome over 110 participants to an exciting presentation by Porsche titled “High-Performance Electric Drivetrains of Tomorrow—Setting New Standards for Sports Cars.”

Raphael Oestreicher, M.Sc., and Wolfgang Maximilian Blaschke, M.Sc., doctoral candidates at Porsche AG under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. André Casal Kulzer, presented their research findings on future high-performance electric powertrains. They also discussed current challenges and developments in this field.

The audience gained fascinating insights into:

• The challenges of increasing performance, efficiency, and innovation
• How scientific research is translated into practical automotive technologies
• The close collaboration between academia and industry

The lively discussion following the presentations demonstrated once again just how curious today’s students are, including the members of Rennteam Uni Stuttgart e.V. Their thoughtful questions, enthusiasm, and ambition give us great confidence in the future of our industry.
