The compact powertrains of battery-electric passenger scales are characterized by a particularly dynamic build-up of torque and its rapid transfer to the wheels. Some of the resulting challenges for the control of powertrain test benches as well as possible approaches to meet them were presented in the presentation by our colleague Dr.-Ing. Nicolai Stegmaier at the Test Facility Forum.
