FKFS at the 8th Automotive Industry Strategy Dialogue in Baden-Württemberg

On Wednesday, 13th November the eighth annual event of the Strategy Dialogue Automotive Industry Baden-Württemberg (SDA) took place in Karlsruhe. The main topic was the current challenging situation in the automotive industry and the impact of the political situation in Germany and the USA.

FKFS was also represented: Together with the RABus project and the consortium partners of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and ZF Friedrichshafen AG, our team was able to exhibit the automated shuttle, which was met with great curiosity by the visitors. In interesting discussions, we were able to shed more light on the potential of autonomous driving for the future of public transport. We were also delighted to welcome Baden Württemberg’s Minister of Transport Winfried Hermann and Minister of State and Head of the State Chancellery Florian Stegmann to the shuttle.

As part of the program, our Board member Prof. Hans-Christian Reuss took part in a panel discussion. Together with the Minister of Transport Winfried Hermann; Volker Schilling, Member of the Board of Management of Bosch Mobility at Robert Bosch GmbH and Dr Raphael Menez, Head of Team Transformation, IG Metall Baden-Württemberg he discussed the topic “Challenges of the globalized and digitalized automotive industry”.

It was an inspiring day with lots of dialogue about innovative mobility solutions!
