Girls’ Day: exploring autonomous systems

Curiosity, technology, and a strong sense of adventure. As part of the nationwide Girls' Day event, we welcomed participants to our workshop, "How Do Vehicles Think?" Together, we explored the fascinating worlds of autonomous driving, sensor technology, and robotics.

They started in the traditional way, with pen and paper. The students controlled small Ozobots and developed their first logical sequences in a playful manner. Then, things went digital. On the computer, they programmed their own applications and sent the robots to navigate a test course independently.

The day's highlights generated a lot of excitement, including a ride on our autonomous shuttle and fascinating insights into the driving simulator.

One thing became clear quickly: technology can be complex and exciting. We're already looking forward to next year's Girls' Day!
