On January 12, a campaign for the vaccination against Covid took place at FKFS. After the workers’ council had organized a mobile vaccination team by Impfen-BW - Vaccination Service Baden-Württemberg for institute employees and their relatives as well as employees of the university, the goal of reaching at least 25 people was far exceeded. Between 3 and 7 p.m., 170 people received a Covid vaccination shot in the application hall.
Thanks to the initiative of some of the staff who assisted and solved logistical challenges outside of their working hours the huge turnout was handled well. "I was there as a helper today," Thilo Kress, research associate at FKFS, said. "It's a lot of work and a big responsibility for a workers’ council to pull off something like this. That's why I thought the vaccination campaign was remarkable for FKFS".
