This year, Prof. Giorgio Rizzoni from the Ohio State University, expert in electromobility, will once again be running two advanced training courses on electromobility as part of the FKFS Academy.
On July 22, the course "Electrification of Mobility I - Motivation, Technology Outlook, and Markets" takes place. Expert lecturer Prof. Giorgio Rizzoni provides the participants with a broad understanding of the technology, supply chain and market opportunities and challenges associated with electrified mobility. The full-day course is designed for executives in automotive, electrical, and vehicle fleet operations.
The second course "Electrification of Mobility II - Introduction to Electric Drive and Energy Storage Systems" takes place on July 23 and 24. It is designed for automotive and mechanical engineers as well as researchers with the aim of reviewing xEV technology and the challenges and opportunities of e-mobility. The two-day course provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to the subject without the need for significant prior knowledge. The knowledge imparted on the topics of electric machines and power converters, electrified drivetrain architectures and system concepts, and energy storage systems is rounded off with a practical exercise on the simulation of battery performance.
