The Day of Science will take place on 29 June 2019 from 13.00 to 19.00 hrs. The FKFS and the partner institute IVK also offer the opportunity to visit the institutes on this day and present current developments and projects. Visitors can gain exciting insights into the research and development activities of the institutes.
The following test benches can be visited:
- 1:1 Vehicle wind tunnel
- 1:4 and 1:5 model wind tunnel
- vehicle dynamics test bench
- Hydropuls test bench (road simulator)
- Sound source location in a low-reflection room
- Driving simulator
- Electric vehicle fleet of the institute and electric filling station
- Laboratory internships on bus systems in motor vehicles
- special engine test benches
More highlights:
- Presentation of the Rennteam and GreenTeam of the University of Stuttgart (at 4 pm)
- Extra children's tour at 3 pm for 8- to 14-year-olds
