On 17 and 18 October 2019, more than 250 participants from industry and science discuss current topics in the industry in four parallel sessions in the rooms of the Tongji University in Shanghai. This year's programme of expert presentations covers everything from fuel cells and batteries to combustion engines. Other key topics include intelligent vehicle technology, aerodynamics and lightweight construction as factors for reducing driving resistance. The lectures will be held by representatives of numerous Chinese and German companies as well as scientists from various German and Chinese universities. The lecture program was jointly designed by the organizers. This cooperation is based on many years of intensive scientific cooperation between the School of Automotive Studies at Tongji University, the IVK Institute for Internal Combustion Engines and Automotive Engineering at the University of Stuttgart and the FKFS Research Institute for Automotive Engineering and Vehicle Engines in Stuttgart.
