The moment has finally arrived: The eagerly anticipated “Sustainable Energy & Powertrains” conference officially began this morning with the Welcome Session led by André Kulzer. His inspiring opening set the tone for the event, followed by two high-profile keynotes that framed the conference’s central themes.
David Bothe from Frontier Economics opened with his keynote “No Energy, No Mobility: How the Energy Transition Determines the Drive Transition”, highlighting the crucial role of the energy transition for future propulsion technologies. He was followed by Ragnar Burenius from Horse Powertrain Ltd., who presented “Hybrids as Enabler for Electrification” and demonstrated how hybrid technologies can pave the way towards electrification.
With these valuable insights, participants continued into the first networking break — a perfect opportunity for discussion and exchange. The technical program then kicked off with the first series of expert presentations.
