Shanghai-Stuttgart-Symposium on 21 and 22 October

This year taking place as a hybrid event

In a few days, the Shanghai-Stuttgart Symposium will finally start again after a break last year. This international event on Jiading Campus in Shanghai on October 21 and 22 is jointly organized by Tongji University, IFS of the University of Stuttgart, FKFS and Messe Nanjing. Due to the current entry restrictions, it will be held as a hybrid conference this year.

In four parallel sessions on "Aerodynamics", "Technology of IV", "Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell" and "Powertrain and Electrical Propulsion", speakers from academia and industry will share and discuss their latest findings, including six IFS & FKFS staff members.  In addition, interesting keynotes will be given by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Wagner and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Bargende, both Board of FKFS; Dr. Christian Salzmann, BMW R&D China; Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter F. Tropschuh, Technical University of Munich and AUDI AG; Frank Klaas, Geely Germany; Mr. Gary Zhong, Infineon Technologies Greater China as well as Prof. Dr. Hans Georg Engel, Daimler Greater China.

The event will conclude with a panel discussion that will be exciting due to the mixed participation of onsite and online discussants. This year's topic is "Global Challenges for Developing Future Vehicles."
