On the second day of the 13th FKFS-Conference on Vehicle Aerodynamics and Thermal Management, there was again a large number of interesting technical presentations. One special highlight was the keynote by Andreas Schmitt from Lotus Cars. His presentation entitled "Aerodynamics of the new Lotus Lifestyle Vehicles" attracted a lot of attention. Highlighting the market trends of aerodynamics he looked at the individual components of the Lotus Emeya and explained their specific aero characteristics.
A total of 30 technical presentations were given during the two-day conference, covering a wide range of topics around Aerodynamics, Aeroacoustics, Battery, Flow Physics, Cabin Comfort, Thermal Modeling and many more. They offered participants the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and learn about current developments in the industry. This was supported by the trade exhibition with companies presenting their latest technologies.
The conference attracted more than 150 international participants, including experts, researchers and representatives of companies in the automotive sector providing numerous opportunities for networking and the exchange of ideas and experiences.
