Exciting Keynote by Arne Philipp Siemens, Audi AG at conference Powertrains for Renewable Fuels

From 2035, solely new passenger cars that do not emit CO2 will be registered in the EU. This was agreed by the ministers of environment of the 27 EU member states in Luxembourg at the end of June 2022. At the insistence of Germany and other EU member states, however, the option was left open to allow new cars with internal combustion engines that run exclusively on eFuels even after 2035. Moreover, eFuels also offer a compellingly plausible solution for the now 1.4 billion vehicle fleet worldwide (67.7 million in Germany), 99.5% of which is powered by an internal combustion engine, if a rapid reduction in CO2 emissions in transport is to be achieved.

The Conference Powertrains for Renewable Fuels is aimed at participants from industry, science and politics who are interested in challenges and solutions for CO2-neutral mobility using renewable fuels.

In addition to technical presentations and discussions on the latest technical developments, there will be exciting keynote speeches, including one by Arne Philipp Siemens, Audi AG on "Paris Climate Targets: Importance for the Transformation Towards Electromobility".

Join us at the 1st Conference Powertrains for Renewable Fuels on 22 and 23 November 2022 at the Haus der Wirtschaft, Stuttgart!
