First day of the 22nd Stuttgart International Symposium finished!

Welcome Session in the morning of day 1

Keynote: Dr. Martin Berger

Keynote: Dr. Thomas Pauer

What an exciting day! At 9 a.m., the 22nd Stuttgart International Symposium kicked off with the Welcome Session from the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart, moderated by Dr.-Ing. Lea Schwarz, Project Officer Drive Strategy AUDI AG. Lea Schwarz welcomed Prof. Dr. Michael Bargende, Member of the Board of Management of FKFS, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister for Economy, Labor and Tourism Baden-Württemberg, and Prof. Dr. Wolfram Ressel, Rector of the University of Stuttgart, as guests.

Directly afterwards, Dr. Martin Berger, Vice President Corporate Research and Advanced Engineering of MAHLE International GmbH, gave a keynote speech. In his presentation, Dr. Berger spoke on the topic of "Shaping the future as a supplier in a changing (mobility) world." This world, he said, is characterized by sustainability and by a very diverse mobility of the future, for whose powertrain types MAHLE has equally diverse solutions ready.

In six parallel sessions, participants were then able to view the various technical presentations, ask their questions in the Q&A sessions, and use the breaks for networking on the event platform.

The afternoon program started with another highlight: at 2 p.m., Dr. Thomas Pauer, Executive Vice President with responsibility for the Business Field Injection Systems and Fuel Cell, Powertrain Solutions Division at Robert Bosch GmbH, provided valuable insights into "Powertrain Solutions for Future Mobility!" Dr. Pauer used illustrative case studies to present Bosch's diverse solutions on the way to a C02-neutral and emission-free mobility and showed how climate targets can thus be achieved.

After many more expert presentations in the individual sessions in the afternoon, we are now looking forward to more exciting impressions on the second day of the event!
