Highlights at FKFS: Autonomous & Connected Driving

Virtual environments have become essential for testing and developing connected and autonomous driving functions. For the evaluation of driving functions, toolchains are needed for testing, training and validation, with variable environmental conditions and reproducible results.

At FKFS, we have built a modular framework for coupling multiple simulators capable of testing and evaluating connected and autonomous driving functions while using standardized interfaces and formats, e. g. OpenSCENARIO, OpenDRIVE.

Coupling the traffic simulations with the environment simulations and bringing a human driver into the loop, we have 3 different driving simulators on site.

A Simulink Drivetrain Library completes our Multi-Simulation Handler.
